“Decoding the Driftless” Documentary Coming to Richland Center

RICHLAND CENTER, WI (Ben Caxton) — A local group restoring the AD German Warehouse in Richland Center is bring a documentary on the area’s unique geology – and the man responsible for the film – to town for a fun afternoon. The AD German Warehouse Conservancy, Inc. is inviting everyone to attend a showing of the recently released documentary film “Decoding the Driftless.” billed as a “wild ride of adventure above, on and below the amazing Driftless Region” promising viewers they’ll “soar over ancient rugged bluffs, skim primordial rivers, venture deep underground and marvel at sacred archaeological treasures.” Light refreshments will be served at a reception after the film at which writer and producer George Howe will be available for questions. The group also plans to share news about the warehouse restoration project at the event. Tickets are $5 at the door. The event is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 12th.
