Company Plans to Plant 100,000 Trees in Wisconsin

MADISON, WI (Ben Caxton) — A national travel company is planning to plant 100-thousand trees in Wisconsin. Here’s Terry Bell. “Seattle-based Orbridge will work with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on the project as part of the wildlife agency’s reforestation effort. The company’s president and founder says the effort is a way to counteract the carbon footprint made by the Orbridge’s own buses, cruise ships, and the millions of brochures it prints each year. Orbridge says it chose Wisconsin because of its ties to U-W Madison and the ease of working with the DNR.”
