Lancaster Agrees to Contract for Pool Work

LANCASTER, WI (Ben Caxton) — The Lancaster Common Council has agreed to have Burbach Aquatics continue as the main consultant and engineering firm when it comes for the city’s swimming pool renovation project. At a special meeting earlier this week the council unanimouslyapproved that Burbach begin Phase III of project which includes construction staking, providing operation and maintenance manuals for the project along with bid documents, and making construction related observation trips to the project site. Burbach will also provide additional services, including making sure the contractor that is hired reaches substantial completion or final completion by the dates as outlined in the eventual project contract. For their efforts, Burbach Aquatics will be paid 3.95% of the “as built” cost of the projected $3.8 million pool construction project.
