FAYETTE COUNTY, IA (Ben Caxton) — A Fayette County Deputy on patrol stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction at W-25 and Hwy 93 on Wednesday and discovered the driver had three outstanding warrants, for forgery and 2nd-degree theft, out of Des Moines. 22-year-old Abbie Lynn Miller of Sumner was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail where she was held on $15,000 cash bond awaiting transport to Des Moines. The Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday also ticketed a Dubuque woman who was visiting a county inmate. When 25-year-old Sylvia Timmons showed up at the Sheriff’s Office she was found to be driving on a suspended license. She was cited and released.
