Texas Blamed for Dirty Wisconsin Snow

WEST OF THE PECOS, TX (Ben Caxton) — If the snow piling up in your yard looked a little dingier than normal during this latest spring assault by mother nature, you’re not mistaken. As the storm moved in strong winds ahead of the system pulled blowing dust from west Texas up into the storm, which came down on Minnesota and Wisconsin in the form of a dirty yellow snow in places. The dust became airborne with winds blowing across Texas on Wednesday that reach 70 miles per hour in places like Midland, and Abilene.
