Harley Workers at Tomahawk Have New Contract

TOMAHAWK, WI (Ben Caxton) — Harley Davidson workers in Tomahawk have a new labor agreement. `United Steelworkers and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers’ Lodge came to an agreement with the motorcycle giant on Monday for a five-year deal which will give them a 14 percent raise over the life of the contract, according to Reuters. This comes after workers rejected a similar deal over issues such as the handling of temporary workers and job security. The agreement covers more than one thousand employees in both Tomahawk and Milwaukee. `
