Details Emerge in Green Bay Police Custody Death

GREENBAY, WI (Ben Caxton) — Green Bay Police say a 46-year-old Green Bay man who died in their custody died on his way to the hospital. Here’s Bob Hague with more. `The man was in distress after being tasered and handcuffed. Police had responded last Friday to multiple 911 calls reported a man yelling and screaming that someone was after him, “along with other unintelligible things.” Police say the same man was arrested for a disturbance earlier in the week at a different residence in Green Bay. An outside agency, in this case, Appleton Police, are investigating the death as required by state law.
