Arcadia Police Arrest Two on Drug Charges

ARCADIA, WI (Ben Caxton) — Two people have been arrested in Arcadia on drug charges after a traffic stop. Arcadia Police said in a press release that 24-year-old Ramiro Adrian Pillado-Silgado of Independence and 38-year-old Kristin Carty of Arcadia were taken into custody for suspected drugs found in the vehicle during a traffic stop last Saturday shortly before 8:00 PM. A Trempealeau County Sheriff K-9 unit alerted to narcotics in the vehicle and a subsequent search turned up 14.3 grams of suspected cocaine, 15.4 grams of suspected THC and other drug paraphernalia. Pillado-Silgado was arrested for probation violations, resisting and obstructing an officer, operating while revoked, possession of THC with intent to deliver and as party to a crime, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carty was arrested for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.
