Evers Gets Tour Of University Of Wisconsin Platteville

PLATTEVILLE, WI (Ben Caxton) — Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers was in Platteville Thursday getting a tour of two soon-to-be-updated buildings on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville campus. Evers spoke with faculty and staff including Chancellor Dennis Shields and got a look around the science building, Boebel Hall, which is set for $24 million in renovations beginning in January. He then toured Engineering Hall, where he saw new architectural designs of the upcoming Sesquicentennial Hall. That $55 million project will include construction of a new three-story building featuring a green roof joined to Engineering Hall.
