Friday Evening Hit and Run in Patch Grove

PATCH GROVE, WI (Ben Caxton) — Grant County authorities are reporting a hit and run crash occurred just before 6:00 PM Monday at the south end of Patch Grove. 75-year-old Frinde Tolle of Patch Grove was turning left into her driveway in her blue 2002 Buick Lesabre when a white pick up truck struck the rear of Tolle’s car pushing her across the lane of travel into the grass on the east side of the roadway. The truck then left the scene at a high rate of speed. The truck, possibly a Chevrolet, had white pipes in the cargo area sticking out past the tailgate. The truck should have significant damage to the front driver’s side. If anybody has any information about the crash they are asked to please contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
