Police Task Force Makes Drug Bust in Boscobel

BOSCOBEL, WI (Ben Caxton) — A Wednesday search has led to a drug bust in Boscobel. The Richland-Iowa Grant Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 206 Dwight Street that turned up methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, marijuana, and other items related to the distribution of methamphetamine inside the residence. 34-year-old Mathew McCracken of Boscobel was arrested and transported to the Grant County Jail on two outstanding felony warrants and will be referred to the Grant County District Attorney’s Office on charges of possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana, and for maintaining a drug trafficking place. The Richland Iowa Grant Drug Task Force was assisted by the Southwest Wisconsin Emergency Response Team and the Boscobel Police Department in the search and arrest.
