Waterloo Man & Passenger Arrested in Prairie Stop

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI (Ben Caxton) — A Waterloo man was arrested for drug intoxication at a traffic stop in Prairie du Chien early Saturday morning. Deputies stopped a vehcile driven by 44-year-old Samuel Hirsch around 3:30 AM when he turned down West Wisconsin going the wrong way on the one-way street. Hirsch failed field-sobriety tests and a smoking device used to ingest methamphetamine was discovered in the vehicle. A passenger in the car was later arrested after she was identified by another Deputy as 20-year-old Goldie Farmer of Prairie du Chien who was wanted on outstanding warrants from Crawford and Grant Counties.
