Police Investigating Raucous Homecoming in La Farge

LA FARGE, WI (Ben Caxton) — La Farge Police say it was a raucous homecoming night in the city, with more incidents reported than in any year past. Police Chief Jonathan Brown said in a Facebook post that there were several disturbances in the village overnight Thursday, including four disorderly conduct reports, two battery reports, one report of “shooting other missiles,” one vandalism report, one discharging fireworks report and multiple reports of curfew violations. The police also added helpfully that any youngsters who wanted to “TP” a house, first needed permission from the potential victim, and had to clean up the mess afterward.
