Security System Installer’s Van Hijacked by Bears

GATLINBURG, TN (Ben Caxton) — A security systems installer in Gatlinburg, Tennessee leaving a customer’s home last week got a surprise when he heard the horn on his work van being honked. Looking inside to see what was causing the issue Jeff Stokely of A.S.A.P. Security Systems found two small bear cubs that had apparently bypassed the security systems and locked themselves inside. Worse, his keys were locked inside the van with the animals. The bears were eventually freed after Stokely called the office for a key code to open the door. He said he never spotted the mother bear during the incident.
