Cursive Writing Bill Gets Hearing

MADISON, WI (Ben Caxton) — A bill to require cursive writing instruction for all Wisconsin elementary school students had a public hearing to at the Capitol on Wednesday. It’s from state Representative Jeremy Theisfeldt of Fond du Lac [wrncursive01] The bill would require schools to incorporate cursive in elementary curriculums with the goal of having students write legibly in cursive by the end of fifth grade.
