La Crosse House Fire Spares Two Adults and Four Dogs

LA CROSSE, WI (Ben Caxton) — Two adults, and their four dogs escaped injury in a house fire that heavily damaged a La Crosse home Friday. The La Crosse Fire Department arrived within minutes to extinguish the blaze, but the home at 1412 5th Avenue sustained heavy fire and smoke damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
