No Evidence La Crosse Police Department “Full Of Racists”

LA CROSSE, WI (Ben Caxton) — There apparently is little evidence that a suspended Western Technical College instructor said the La Crosse Police Department was “full of racists” incapable of solving a murder case “if their paycheck depended on it.” The previous La Crosse Police Chief had pulled its recruits from the college’s police academy in response to the allegations of the statements by Nicole Miller, an instructor in Western’s police academy. An internal investigation into the matter for the school by the Wisconsin-based law firm of Strang, Patterson, Renning, Lewis & Lacy found that there was either “insufficient evidence” or “no evidence” that Miller had made the statements. As a result of the report, the school says Miller will not face any disciplinary action.
