Prairie Man Named to People’s Bank Board Of Directors

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI (Ben Caxton) — James Hutchison has accepted a position on the Peoples State Bank Board of Directors. In a press release, the bank said Hutchison has an “impressive” entrepreneurial track record of starting and operating successful businesses, including Prairie Industries in Prairie du Chien and Lansing, and Nu-Pak in Boscobel. Tom Farrell, Chairman of the Board, expressed his pleasure that Hutchison has accepted this position saying Hutchison’s wealth of knowledge and business experience in addition to his record of success makes him “a valuable addition” to the board. Hutchison was born and raised in Prairie du Chien and graduated from UW-Platteville in 1977. He started his career with Montgomery Ward and after graduation moved to various parts of the U.S. with the company. He returned to Prairie du Chien in 1986 and has been involved in various businesses ever since.
