Farm Bureau Says Buy a Natural Christmas Tree This Year

WISCONSIN (Ben Caxton) — Now that the Christmas season is officially underway, state ag leaders are reminding you to purchase a naturally grown Christmas tree this season. Sarah Hetke with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau says choosing a real tree supports local farmers. “Choosing a real tree is an excellent way to support local growers and to be very locally conscious about the products you’re purchasing. Consumers are definitely showing a preference for local products.” Wisconsin has more than 850 Christmas tree farms producing more than 700-thousand trees annually.
