Marquette Getting a Visit from the Holiday Train

MARQUETTE, IA (Ben Caxton) — Marquette is getting a visit from the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train this weekend. The train, a holiday tradition covered in tens of thousands of lights, will bring holiday cheer, Santa, and a stage for live musical performances, into Marquette’s Riverfront Marina on Sunday at 2:45 PM. The stop will help collect food and raise money for the Clayton County Food Shelf. Last year’s visit raised over $11,000 and gathered nearly 3,000 pounds of food.
