Waukesha Police Release South High Shooting Update

WAUKESHA, WI (Ben Caxton) — Police in Waukesha are releasing more information into Monday morning’s shooting incident inside Waukesha South High School. `Police Chief Russell Jack says the student shot by officers is expected to live. “The 17-year-old suspect, in this case, was transported to Children’s Hospital, and received exceptional care,” Police say the student pulled a pellet gun on police and was shot in the arm and the leg. He’s currently in intensive care for treatment. Police captain Dan Baumann says the student brought the pellet gun to school as a threat to another student. `
