Colton Treu Changes Pleas in Hit-and-run That Killed Girl Scouts

CHIPPEWA COUNTY, WI (Ben Caxton) — The man who killed three Girl Scouts and a parent in Chippewa County has changed his pleas. `Colten Treu switched his pleas for last November’s hit-and-run to guilty to one count, no contest to four others. Prosecutors say Treu was high on air duster fumes when he ran down the Girl Scout troop as they picked up trash along a roadside. Treu is due to be sentenced in March and could receive a life sentence.`
