Area Residents March in Tournament Of Roses Parade

PASADENA, CA (Ben Caxton) — Two Viroqua Rotary Club members, and a Hillsboro couple are part of the Wisconsin delegation to the Tournament of Roses Parade this New Year’s Day in Pasadena. Karen Dahl and Maryann O’Neil will be walking alongside the Rotary Rose Float, while Jerry and Judy Crotsenberg of Hillsboro are participating with help from the Scan Foundation, a California-based non-profit that works to help people live independently as they age. In August, the foundation asked the Crotsenbergs if they would like to help decorate a float called “Hope’s Heroes” to pay tribute to family caregivers in the United States. They care for Judy’s 91-year-old mother in one of the three homes located on their farm between Richland Center and Hillsboro.
