Man Denies Involvement in September La Crosse Shooting

LA CROSSE, WI (Ben Caxton) — An Onalaska man now charged in a September shooting incident in La Crosse says he didn’t do it. 29-year-old Norman Her is charged with one count of Recklessly Endangering Safety and one count of misdemeanor theft after police say he was seen on home surveillance video stealing a cowling off a car in the 1200 block of 5th Avenue South in La Crosse before then firing three shots at the car and a nearby duplex. The cowling and a loaded gun were later found by police in a car Her was driving and testing determined the shell casings recovered from the duplex came from the gun found in Her’s car.
