Oshkosh West Stabbing Suspect to Stand Trial

OSHKOSH, WI (Ben Caxton) — An Oshkosh high school student accused of stabbing a school resource officer has been ordered to stand trial. `Grant Fuhrman waived his right to a preliminary hearing during a court appearance on Thursday. The 17-year-old is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide. On December 3rd, Fuhrman allegedly, stabbed Officer Michael Wissink as he sat at his computer in his office at Ohskosh West High School. Wissink fired his gun twice, and both he and Fuhrman were injured. The officer spent several days in the hospital. The high school was evacuated, and nearby schools were put on lockdown. Fuhrman, whose bond is set at one million dollars, is due back in court February 19th.`
