Prairie Woman Arrested for Car Theft in Dodgeville

DODGEVILLE, WI (Ben Caxton) — A Prairie du Chien woman has been arrested in connection with a car theft in Dodgeville. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office reports that they received a report of a vehicle having been stolen from a residence on East Chapel Street in Dodgeville just before 10:00 AM Monday. After an investigation, they arrested 30-year-old Wesley Phetteplace of Boscobel, on two counts of felony bail jumping and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. The car was later recovered Monday evening around 9:00 PM and 38-year-old Andrea Faulkner of Prairie Du Chien was then arrested on charges of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and misdemeanor bail jumping.
