“stranger Danger” Warnings After Pickup Attempt

BOSCOBEL, WI (Ben Caxton) — Police in Southwest Wisconsin are reminding parents to be on the lookout after someone attempted to pick up a young girl waiting at a school bus stop on Tuesday. The incident happened at Warah Street and Hummel Avenue Area in Boscobel. The child said a man in a white-colored van stopped and asked her if she wanted a ride. She told the man no twice before he left. The man is described as white with a lot of scars on the left side of his face. Police added that the rear window of the van was covered in spray paint.
