Platteville Students Among Six Tested for Coronavirus

PLATTEVILLE, WI (Ben Caxton) — The State Department of Health Services has tested six people in Wisconsin for possible coronavirus exposure. During a Monday conference call, Tom Haupt with DHS was asked if the six are exchange students at UW Plattville [wrndhscoronavirus01] The university said last week that six students who had traveled from China were being quarantined as a precaution. DHS said Monday that of those tested, one was negative and five others are still pending. So far, there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin.
