Viroqua Buggy Crash Injures Four and Kills Horse

VIROQUA, WI (Ben Caxton) — A Wednesday morning buggy crash in Viroqua has left four people injured. Police say a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Michael Dyer of Westby collided with the Amish buggy containing 20-year-old Lester Detweiler and two minor children around 6:20 AM in the 1300 block of Main Street north of Airport Road. All four were taken to the hospital suffering from what police called non-life-threatening injuries. The horse, however, did not survive the accident.
