Praire Du Chien Schools Select a New Superintendent

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI (Ben Caxton) — Prairie du Chien Schools have looked in house to choose a new superintendent for the district. According to social media posts Andy Banasik, currently, the principal of Prairie du Chien High School has gotten the nod to replace interim superintendent Bryce Bird who joined the district in September. Banasik has held his position as principal since 1996 and current duties also include being the school’s athletic director and the head boy’s basketball coach. Banasik studied at UW-Platteville and got his administrative degree at Winona State University.
