LA CROSSE, WI (Ben Caxton) — A former Onalaska woman has been arrested – while on court release for other drug charges – for again selling drugs. this time to a dealer who was funneling the contraband to Prairie du Chien. The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office said in a Tuesday press-release that 30-year-old Sandy Xiong was arrested at about 6:00 PM Monday with more than $7,500 worth of meth as part of a multi-jurisdictional investigation. Xiong was under police surveillance when she sold meth to a drug dealer who was transporting it to Prairie du Chien on Monday evening in the parking lot of a South Side La Crosse business. Arresting officers found Xiong had 116.5 grams of meth in her possession when she was taken into custody. A later search of her home revealed an additional 212 grams of meth for a total of 328.5 grams worth up to $9,000 on the street. 38-year-old Zachary Pupp was also arrested on drug charges at the residence. The investigation included law enforcement from the La Crosse, Prairie du Chien and Campbell police departments, as well as the La Crosse, Vernon, and Grant county sheriff offices.
