Elections Commission Clarifies Spring Absentee Ballots

MADISON, WI (Ben Caxton) — Most Wisconsin voters getting ballots by mail this spring will get just one. `The Wisconsin Election Commission has clarified the process for absentee ballots this spring. Earlier this year the commission told election clerks that state law requires that two ballots be mailed to absentee voters for the April primary. Commissioners reversed course on Wednesday. Now, only Wisconsin voters who are overseas or in the military will get two ballots. Everyone else will get one.`
