Narcotics Investigation Leads to Soldiers Grove Arrest

SOLDIERS GROVE, WI (Ben Caxton) — A lengthy narcotics investigation into the illegal distribution and sales of methamphetamine in Crawford County has led to the arrest of a Soldiers Grove man. 42-year-old Jeremy Phinney was booked into the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department Jail Facility facing numerous felony charges after a search warrant at a home on Manning Avenue in Soldiers Grove turned up numerous Ziploc baggies containing large chunks of a crystal-like substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine with a total weight of 1.5 ounces and a street value of $1,400.00., psilocybin mushrooms, ecstasy pills, illegal prescription medication, marijuana and THC concentrate, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.
