Masks Required at Menard’s Starting Monday

MADISON, WI (Ben Caxton) — Starting Monday, shoppers at Menards stores will need to wear face masks. And the Wisconsin-based retailer is not alone, as state Representative Michael Schraa referenced at the Capitol on Thursday [wrnretailmasks03] That would be Costco, the world’s second-largest retailer. Schraa asked Tim Metcalfe of Madison-based Metcalfe’s Markets whether his stores will follow suit, and if they’ll prohibit customers from entering without them [wrnretailmasks04] There are three Metcalfe’s in Madison and Wauwatosa, and Metcalfe says if they do start requiring masks they’ll offer them for sale at customer service, but likely provide them free to people who can’t or won’t buy one.
