Many Businesses Reopen After Evers Order Struck Down

LA CROSSE, WI (Ben Caxton) — Local media in La Crosse report that many local businesses including bars and restaurants reopened in that city as soon as the ink was dry on a Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling striking down the extension of Governor Tony Evers’ Safer At Home Order. Other businesses proceeded more cautiously waiting for word from the La Crosse County Health Department. Bars across the state were notified immediately by the state’s Tavern League that they could open immediately if they wanted to.
