The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call for a vehicle accident.

(Ben Caxton)–the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took a 911 call of a one vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of 200th Street and Q Ave. Once deputies arrived we found that a 2008 Jeep driven by Citlali Saenz, age 18 of Sumner had lost control and rolled into the ditch. Saenz was transported to Palmer Hospital by Tri State ambulance and treat for minor injuries.  Hawkeye Fire also assisted at the scene, Saenz was cited for, failure to have a Iowa Driver’s License, Failure to maintain control, no proper registration and failure to have insurance.

After a week long investigation the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler James Tessmer, age 19 of Arlington. The investigation showed that Tessmer did solicit a 12-year-old female to engage in a sex act with him. A search warrant was conducted on his residence where electronic devices were seized  and a large amount of drug paraphernalia was discovered. A warrant of arrest was issued and he was later arrested at a residence in Cresco and was taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail.. Tessmer was charged with Lascivious acts with a child, a class D Felony and possession of drug Paraphernalia. This is an ongoing investigation and more charges could be filed. (photo attached)
