Vernon County Sheriff seeks missing inmate

The Vernon County Crime Stoppers, along with the Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center are asking for the public’s help locating an inmate who did not return from her work release.

According to Vernon County Crime Stoppers, Leah Morgan, of Stoddard, is serving a jail sentence for theft. She was last seen on Miller Street in La Crosse. She was released from the Vernon County Jail for work release/Huber privileges on January 1.
